Supplier diversity program 
The Broadlane Supplier Diversity Program proactively seeks historically underutilized businesses (HUBs) to participate in contracting opportunities and chooses to include suppliers that reflect of our diverse client base. The program encourages community economic development, supports our clients' supplier diversity purchasing goals and builds successful business relationships with HUBs.
Our supplier diversity inclusion process is more than the right thing to do, it's the smart thing to do and good business practice. Broadlane's goal is to contribute to the increase of a supplier base of qualified HUBs that create sustainable market competition, resulting in reduced healthcare expenses for products and services. Our supplier diversity inclusion process provides our clients with a robust portfolio of cost-effective contracts for quality products and services.
Broadlane offers coaching and mentoring to HUBs new to the healthcare GPO business. We define HUBs as, certified small disadvantaged, minority-, women- and veteran-owned businesses. We also consider small businesses that meet individual state statues for diversity contracting opportunities.
