The History of Broadlane Workforce Management®
Broadlane Workforce Management® is a separate unit of Broadlane. It began as the result of a strategic partnership with a health system in 2002. The goal was to develop a comprehensive program that could assist in the management of the system’s contingent workforce. The current Broadlane Workforce Management program is the result of a close relationship with our clients – always keeping their perspectives and objectives in mind.
Broadlane Workforce Management stands alongside healthcare facilities, focusing on the management, monitoring and reduction of contract labor. Relying on our clinical, business and technical expertise, we created a healthcare Vendor Management System (VMS) technology that is solely focused on the procurement of human capital (internal and external).
Today, Broadlane Workforce Management delivers its industry-leading program to healthcare providers nationwide, including many of the largest health systems in the United States. Broadlane Workforce Management now works with more than 300 facilities in 85 labor markets nationwide. Our clients spend more than two billion in internal and agency premium shift labor each year. Workforce Management is currently managing more than $600M of agency labor nationally. We do not staff nor have any ownership interests in any staffing agencies.
